Dean Schramm is the author of two books: Dreamtrial – The Complete Series, and Poking a Little Fun at Religion. He has won a couple of minor contests including a mnemonics contest for a science fiction magazine and a South Florida poetry contest.
Twin teens Rusty and Crystal Day find their lives have taken a bad turn with deadly consequences. Events take them to the fantasy world of Dreamtrial. There, they face difficult and dangerous quests which earn them clues to find out who is after them, and why. Along the way they meet another teen, Gus Green, with life-or-death problems as serious as their own. Their fates become linked, and trouble awaits them, both in Dreamtrial and in their world back home… if they can make it back alive. This fantasy novel is a fast-paced story with two compelling mysteries and adventures galore. Part modern, part medieval, you’ll find plenty of heroes and villains, and creatures and races unlike any you’ve encountered before. Sometimes thought-provoking and serious, often playful and fun, Dreamtrial will appeal to teenagers and adults who seek the enjoyment of a new reading experience. Originally two novels, combined into one, this is the complete series in a single volume. The language is mild. There is some violence.
Dreamtrial is a fantasy novel with a humanistic bent. It is available as a paperback or Kindle book at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million: https://smile.amazon.com/Dreamtrial-Complete-Dean-Schramm-ebook/dp/B004M8RLNA/ref=tmm_kin_title_sr?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1576872305&sr=1-1

Are you better than your religion? Poking a Little Fun at Religion claims that you probably are. After you read the spicy rhymes, shocking quotations, and hair-raising scriptural passages in this blasphemous little book, you’d be foolish not to agree. And are you better than the other guy’s religion? Well, that’s a no-brainer—Poking Fun confirms that too! The aim of this compact book is to introduce inquisitive readers to a great many religious issues in an informative, entertaining manner, while raising eyebrows, questions, and chuckles along the way. Read it from cover to cover, and you will find a new appreciation for that great American principle of separating church from state. Got a little devil in you? Have some fun and send a gift copy of Poking a Little Fun to the most annoying hellfire cleric you know. As they say, it’s not the gift, but the thought that counts, and there is plenty to think about in Poking a Little Fun at Religion.
